The role that holds a shoot together. Call sheets, releases, logistics, location liaison and the hundred small interventions that stop a filming day from unravelling. As a production assistant for a Casan Legacy project, you will work across scheduling, accounting, kit movement and be the point of contact for contributors on set who have never been on camera before and are nervous about it.

We are looking for organisational instinct and a creative mindset. Prior experience working on a documentary or reality set is essential. You must be someone that maintains composure under a compressed timeline, and a driving licence is a necessity.

A genuine entry point into the camera department. You will support our DOP and camera operators with prep, kit care, media handling, batteries and lens changes, all building towards assisting the camera crew on location.

Formal training is not required. What matters is that you look at images with intent, understand why one shot works and another does not, and think you can be relied on to find a solution when a battery is dying with four minutes of interview left.

Interest in documentary shooting (long lens, handheld, macro, available light) is what we want to see.

Supporting the First AD across scheduling, contributor wrangling, unit logistics and the running of the floor. Documentary schedules move without warning. The role suits someone who can rebuild a day in fifteen minutes without dropping the standard of it.

Previous AD experience across factual, drama or commercial production is expected. Familiarity with BC production practice and union protocol is welcome.
